PILATES reformer

The Reformer designed by Joseph Pilates himself, is the most well-known machine used in Pilates. It instills in the user greater flexibility and creates special conditions in both resistance and support, in a very targeted and unique way.
With the driving force the basic principles of Pilates, exercise on the Reformer, creates a particular quality and helps develop harmoniously the users natural abilities. These are the reasons that this machine is the most popular organ both in its users and with Pilates instructors.

Joseph Pilates believed that beginning exercise on a horizontal plane was important for relieving stress and pressure on the joints and that it also helped with the alignment of the body before extra gravitational forces in the central core, whether it be in an upright sitting or kneeling position.

The course consists of:

- Basic principles of Pilates on the Reformer. Exercises with variations based on the level of physical abilities and the physiological needs of the trainer
- Safety and the upright use of the machine
- Muscular function and sequencing
- Programming of Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels of trainees.
- Use of small transportable equipment lower back support for the Reformer
- Instructional techniques in group and personal training

Duration: 8 weekends / 60 hours of instruction
Prerequisites : Basic training in Mat work.

- Graduates of Private Fitness academies
- Physiotherapists
-Dancers
-And to all who wish to enrich their knowledge on the human body as well as kinetics

Registration documents:
1/ Two photos
2/ A photocopy of identity card or passport
3/ A photocopy of proof of level of literacy
4/ Medical certificate from pathologist or cardiologist to state that "... is healthy and can be exercised"
